Tasting Traditional Rural Atmosphere

One of the landmarks of the country is the flat area to the east. Let us take an excursion to taste the rural atmosphere, to see our wranglers  and find out more about the nation’s nomadic culture. In Ópusztaszer you can find our National Historical Memorial Parkwith archeological, historical-ethnographical collections, open-air exhibitions of nomadic life and the 1800-square-meter panoramic painting, the Feszty-cyclorama, depicting the Magyar tribes entering the Carpathian Basin. When in Bugac you are welcome to try some special pastoral meals, take a nice carriage drive watching the rare Hungarian "racka" sheep and grey cattle grassing, witness the famous „puszta-fiver”, a wrangler riding five horses at the same time and horse laying, or you may decide to ride a horse bareback.
